2010 Book Money List – Updated 7/28/2010
Club Championship Match Play Bracket – Updated 7/28/10 – Kurt Neidermier continues his advance to the finals with a 4 and 3 victory over Billy Chen, which included a 4-under par front nine. Strong work.
Summer Championship Brackets - Updated 7/28/2010 – Grady Irvin and Carson Williams join Butch Lewis in advancing to the Flight Champions Bracket.

Member Sanding Day – On behalf of all of our club members, thanks to those of you who showed up to the course at 5:30 AM last Friday morning to sand fairway and tee box divots. These efforts by our Club members go a long way to helping keep the course in the best possible condition, and offer opportunities to give a little something back to the cause.
We’ll be doing it all again in another month or so, so please contact the secretary at secretary@westseattlegolfclub.org to get more details and express your desire to help out.
Washington Golf Alliance – Economic Impact Study – The Washington Golf Alliance, headed by the WSGA, recently commissioned an Economic Impact Study detailing the impact of golf revenue in the State of Washington. The study shows that golf contributes over $1.2 billion in revenue in the, more than the Seahawks, Mariners and former Sonics combined. 2010 Seattle Amateur Results – Congratulations to fellow West Seattle Golf Club members Larry Daniels, David Farnam, and David Shumann for making the cut in this year’s Seattle Amateur. With one of the strongest fields and the lowest cut-line in the tournament’s history, their efforts were quite an achievement. On behalf of all our members, thanks for representing the club so well. Veteran’s Golf Team Invitational – August 10, 2010 – Hosted at the West Seattle Golf Course by fellow WSGC member Dow Lucerell, proceeds from this 4-Person Scramble charity event go to assist the American Lake Veterans Golf Course, a golf course specifically designed and solely dedicated to helping wounded veterans rehabilitate both physically and mentally.
